Jasmine Solomon
Sole Practitioner Lawyer
Jasmine attended law school at Dalhousie University. Upon completing her degree she returned home to the Annapolis Valley where she articled and worked for Shackleton Taylor Law, before deciding to open a sole practice.
Prior to law school Jasmine worked as a teacher for 10 years. In the early years of her teaching career she lived in Thailand and Cambodia. After returning to Canada she spent a year teaching at the O'Chiese First Nation in Alberta. Jasmine then returned to Nova Scotia to complete a masters degree in Inclusive Education at Acadia University, and specialized as a learning centre and resource teacher. As a teacher Jasmine was passionate about advocating for children with disabilities. This background has helped shape her perspective and insight as a lawyer.
